Director and Coach

Hi my name is Kav and together with my wife Zoe, started Little Big Sport in 2011.

Growing up with a passion for sports, which developed from a young age, I always saw my future as working within the sports industry.

Whilst in high school I was chosen to represent my country in Slalom and Giant Slalom snow ski racing (snow) and also coached children in this sport. After high school I Studied Sports Education at University and have gained a number of sports coaching certificates including my Football Fedration Australia football coaching certificates.2In 2005 I began coaching children as a full time job in a variety of sports in different countries including Austria, Japan, UAE and Australia.

I truly enjoying being around children, and seeing them having fun and developing an interest and passion for sports. My belief from the start was that if children enjoy what they do, they will inherently learn along the way, hence this being the foundation of Little Big Sport. I know how much enjoyment young children can get from physical activity, so through my exposure to sports together with the enjoyment I get from teaching others, it was natural for me to become involved in a career where I can coach soccer and teach children to enjoy physical activity.

I still enjoy coaching and try to get around to the venues as often as I can, in between working on the business behind the scenes. I coach throughout the week at some childcare centres, and can usually be found at the Robina venue on Saturdays.

I’m very proud of how far the business has come, with over 2200 children enjoying our program each week.

Manager and Coach

Kav and I started Little Big Sport in 2011 when our son was just a year old, and I ended up joining the team full time in 2012. I have a teaching background – initially working as an ESL teacher for children both here and overseas, and then becoming a full time secondary teacher in Brisbane. I am also a Football Federation Australia Qualified coach.

Now I work mostly behind the scenes, but still enjoy coaching when I can. I can usually be found at a few kindies throughout the week, and at one of our weekend venues. I find coaching extremely rewarding, as soccer is a sport that anyone of almost any age can pick up the basics of relatively quickly. It is absolutely wonderful to see the little ones’ skills and enjoyment developing  over weeks and months, and it’s always reassuring to hear the positive feedback from parents and the community.

Hi! I’m Jan.  I have a background in accounts and administration. I also have experience as a teacher aid, working with Primary School children. I love children and love being of help to people, and find great satisfaction in seeing a task through to completion.

I joined the Little Big Sport team in 2013 and it’s been a privilege to watch this family business grow and be a part of it all. I love that we provide children with a fun, active and social activity that keeps them healthy and builds their confidence. I mostly look after the accounts and administration for the before school, after school and weekend programs, and you will likely see my name attached to some of your communications with us.  I look forward to assisting you with any enquiries and hope that you and your child enjoys being a part of the Little Big Sport family.

Hi, I’m Tiffany and I’ve got a background in dance and administration. I’ve been performing proffessionally for over 10 years and teaching for the past 20 years.

I moved to the Gold Coast from Taree in 2012 and performed for the Hogs Breath Sirens, the official cheerleaders for the Gold Coast Titans and with the company Levinge Events, showcasing tribute shows around QLD and NSW. I’ve worked at Deamworld, Movieworld and The Entertainment Store, performing as suit characters.

Over the past 10 years I have worked as a dance teacher & administration for Kings Dance Academy as well as in administration at Paradise Resort.

I started at Little Big Sport in 2022 and I am usually the one on the phones and replying to enquiries via email. I look forward to helping to make your child’s time with us as enjoyable as possible – from the back end anyway!
